Hia,
since the installation of my lmce, i get this There some devices on ths media director that did no correctly start.... message when regenerating the orbiter and reloading the router.
Did dig the log files but did not find anything.
All the installed devices are working (telecom, security ip camera...)
Any hint of what could be generating this message? Ok. i now what it means but not finding why.
TIA

I have this same issue.  It is preceded by something about starting up videoLAN for me.

If it is on reload/regen it is most likely the hulu player. There is a workaround for it here... http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=9859.0

Just watch the thing reload. The last thing to attempt to load will hang right before that message, and is the culprit.
I never quit... I just ping out.

Hia,

It happens with #44 Video Lan Server.

The DCErouter.log shows:

Code: [Select]
05      04/03/10 17:05:47.086           Loaded plug-in device: 39 master device: 36 -- ./MythTV_PlugIn.so <0xb64cf
6c0>
01      04/03/10 17:05:47.086           Can't open plug-in file './VideoLan_PlugIn.so': ./VideoLan_PlugIn.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory <0xb64cf6c0>
01      04/03/10 17:05:47.086           Cannot load plug-in for device: 45. Be sure the file VideoLan_PlugIn exists <0xb64cf6c0>
05      04/03/10 17:05:47.100           Loaded plug-in device: 47 master device: 2101 -- ./Hulu_PlugIn.so <0xb64cf6c0>

How to correct this?
TIA
Paulo
