Hi All HDhomerun users,

Can anyone tell me what the performance is like if you are:
a) trying to record 2 x 1080i streams at once
b) trying to watch 2 x 1080i streams at the same time
c) trying to record 1 and watch 1 1080i stream at the same time

Just having trouble understanding how a 10/100 ethernet connection on the HDhomerun can cope with that bandwidth?

Also does it only record direct to the box, or can you use your mythtv storage groups?

Any insight would be appreciated :-)

Cheers,
WR.

its not that much bandwidth, an ATSC channel maxes out at around 20 mbit each. there are no problems with running both tuners at the same time, i do it all the time.

and it works like any other capture card configured in mythtv, you can adjust which storage group shows get recorded to on an individual basis.

Thanks merkur2k. I'm PAL (Aus) but I assume it is much the same. Thanks for confirming.
