710 Installation hangs on athpci

Hi all,

Trying to install 710 on an Acer Revo3610. Im finding that the installation is hanging when enabling the wifi card ath_pci. I've been searching for days and can't find a solution:
- There is no bios option to disable wifi
- I've tried using apci=off or noapci but with no luck.

I'm now trying to install 810 in the hope that this has better support for the R3610, but having a different set of problems there.

Has anyone managed to get around this particular issue?
