One other thing, while in Advanced / Network, it is only saying that I have one netowrk card . I have two. It is recognizing my embedded card, but not he PCI. It is a D-link 530T 10/100/1000 card. It is recognized in bios. Also, the internal address of eth0 is 192.168.80.xxx and the external address of eth0 is 192.168.10.xxx. How can I get htis to recognize my card. Thanks. Also, once recognized, I will still need to get my PPPOE working for my DSL connection. Thanks.
Perhaps this is just a problem of loading proper module for your network card. In your place I'd to this :
- take a look at ifconfig output (to check how many network cards)
- search Internet for what kernel module is needed for your network card and try to modprobe it....
- then you put that kernel module in /etc/modules or yet better on Pluto MDs page, where you can specify additional kernel modules to get loaded
PPPoe: I've put instructions here (hopefully didn't forget anything)
http://plutohome.com/wiki/index.php/How_to_setup_ADSL_access%3FMyth: I also have second thoughts of using mythtv as live tv. So far I decided to have it only as backend recording and watch recordings with Xine player (I did some symbolic links to recordings from /video directory on public directory)....
HTH,

Rob.
