The debian installer can't find the CD ROM (It's actually a DVD ROM) for my Dell laptop. It's sees the USB device but not the DVD drive...

I tried all the default drivers but none work...

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

Does a regular livecd see and use it  - try http://www.pclinuxos.com/page.php?7

Did you move the DVD drive ?

If so, check master/slave.

I moved mine and found I had a bad chanel on one of my systems.
