X10 Not working
« on: September 16, 2006, 06:23:05 am »
Hello, I bought CM15A which is the new and USB version of the CM11A.
I created a new interface and set it as a generic serial, ethernet or USB controller. I set controlled by core. Then I added a light and I used one of the list. I assigned it to be controlled by CM15A. when I test the light nothing happens.

I dont know if the CM15A is the one not working or the light is set  wrong.

Any ideas??
The CM15A is suposed to be the same as the CM11A, is there any way to edit the CM11A so that it works with usb and not serial? that could be an option maybe??

What else could I do to test?

Thanks

there is no device template for cm15, only for cm11
but it works the same
go to interfaces and add the cm11a, leave blank for COM Port on PC. when using the cm11a you need to specify the serial port. here you don't have one.
then go to ligths and add the swith. you need to specify here the channel that is using for communication with cm15.
