I use Tellstick USB dongle to controll lights in my house and it would be great to have it integrated in LinuxMCE. I have managed to install the Tellstick in Ubuntu by following this instruktion for linux under http://www.telldus.se/ and then i configured a controll device by following the instruktion http://developer.telldus.se/wiki/TellStick%20installation%20-%20Linux.
Now its possible to turn on and off lights with the command:
  rfcmd /dev/tellstick NEXA A 1 1
This is quite similar to the controll for X10 devices in LinuxMCE but unfortunately i do not have the programming skill to tweek LinuxMCE into accepting my tellstick dongle.
Anyone have a suggestion?

where is the problem? You just need to merge this into a DCE device (look at DCEGen and different threads in the developers forum): http://svn.telldus.se/telldus/trunk/telldus-core/rfcmd/rfcmd.c

The problem is my lack of programming skills. I am forced to surrender and crawl back to a Windows solution. Im not giving up! I will just take a break, lick my wounds and my trashed pride and then i will be back again......
