I installed a logitech quickcam on a MD to see if they work as the documentation claims and alas it did not. Now I cannot remove the camera entry on any of the orbiters , even though I have removed it from the admin webpage and regenerated and rebooted and reloaded  still it remains.
Any one have any ideas ?

Be sure that you did full regeneration not just a quick.

Thanks for the reply

I have done this more than once , to no avail.

I have since tried to connect the logitech webcam to my core , are you aware of any extra actions i need to take to get it to work. In the admin website under device status the camera  status is now run_config. What does this mean.

I have a webcam in my installation. I followed by this guide to setup it. Also, remember to install and load appropriate driver for your webcam. YOu can use a command dmesg to check if everything fine with your webcam.
