Whenever I open Mythtv on my MD it stops after a few seconds saying, that there was a problem displaying the video.
I checked the Setup many times. So far the only thing I've come up with, is about the storage groups. Whenever I want to leave the setup, it tells me that there are some paths that don't exist. Those are actually the ones from two other disks. I can see them, I can access them, but it seems to me, that Mythtv can't.
The question is, what can I do about it?

Well, I tried a few things, fixed the "nonexisting paths", but the problem remains.
All I get is maybe 1 or 2 seconds, even sound, then the frame freezes and after a while I get "error when displaying video"
This is my second MD and its still happening...only the core can play it. Does anyone know, where else I can look for the problem on this system?

there is still a known problem with storage groups on MDs that are created after install, which i am working on a fix for.
a temporary workaround is to run the following sql query after adding a MD:
"UPDATE mythconverg.settings SET data=1 where value='AlwaysStreamFiles'"
'sudo mysql', press enter (blank password), and paste that in.
