Hi,

I'm just curious...

If your movies are in VOB video_ts and audio_ts style...

if you look at the parent videos/MovieName directory via a console, do you have any 0 byte cifsxxxx files created?

No, All DVD's were ripped using Linuxmce so they are all in the DVD file format. Also didn't see any 0 byte cifs files.

Hi,

So then they are .dvd iso files with a keys.tar.gz file.

The keys.tar.gz contain the decoded css encryption keys/chapter info from ripped dvd's and allow you to move between chapters in a movie.

Maybe something to do with accessing the keys during playback?

I dunno.  The three minute thing prompted me to think updatmedia.

I'm outta ideas - sorry bud!

Update. After installing from Beta (great work guys!) still have the skip. I mapped a drive from the NAS on my XP laptop to look at all files on the drive and found 16,572 CHECK_MOUNTED files that were being added by the core every three minutes, as well as files from DVD's that didn't rip successfully, in a folder called trashbox. I deleted all the files and then disabled Read/Write access to the drive and, NO SKIP! I know this may just be a temp fix but finally no skip.
