Is it possible to add a couple of hdd with media on them in fat32 or ntfs format, to the core server ?

And will it work?

Or does all media contant have to be moved there via smb ?

ok..

did some work on it..

Hybrid and a MD

i have some disks in the MD that i like to mount..

do i have to mount them on both the Hybrid via nfs and on the MD

like

MD
/dev/hdb2 /mnt/hdb2 or shut i mount it as /home/data/public/video if it's all video ??

or only do nfs mounts from the hybrid ?

i beliave that my problem is that ntfs is not writeble, but can i set pluto to not write the temp files to does 2 ntfs disk i have and instead put them somewhere else so it can just read from the ntfs disks i will think people with nfs also have problems like this..

ntfs drives can only be read, don't have permissions to write data.
