Hi All,

On the orbiter when you get the New P&P device detected screen, would it be possible to have the detected MAC address sown there as well, to make it easier to identify which device has actually been detected.
I find that I get devices detected that don't seem to match anything in the list shown, or I have several devices of the same model I need to differentiate between.

Regards,
Josh

I believe merk implemented a MAC address to IP association screen in the web admin. Search the forum.

yes, but that adds an extra step, being able to identify the particular device from the orbiter is quicker & you get it right the first time, so a trip to the web admin isn't required.

well then, implement it. The source code is out there... either that, or wait around until somebody gets around to it.

If I had the slikks I wouldn't have bothered to post it here.

I just figured with several people around currently making changes to orbiter at the moment, I might suggest it in the hope someone likes the idea & includes it.
