Wireless Touchpanel

This may be a stupid question but I'm wondering if I can get any wireless touchpanel computer (Like the WebDT but new) and run the weborbiter on it?

I'm looking for an available wireless device similar to the WebDT that I can buy new instead of having to buy used stuff that can have issues such as battery life, scratches, etc.  I hate showing off my supercool system with a scratched up WebDT.

Afaik most devices similar to the webDT cost over $1k new... I think the WebDT's are nearly $1800.
That said, im sure that you can find something similar, but are you willing to spend the $$$?

Sounds to me like you should try and buy a DT that isn't scratched, or get some glossy metal paint and take care of that.

I'm OK with the price.  My main question is can I use any Windows/Linux based webpad with WiFi to run weborbiter?  Another bonus to being able to do this is the ability to browse the internet on the webpad.

I'll probably end up buying a CrunchPad as soon as they're available regardless so that would be exactly the kind of device I'm talking about using.  Would it work?

you can install Orbiter onto any windows or linux based tablet with wifi.

The lenovo IdeaCentre C300 looks amazing for central control panel. Sure it's more expensive but its screen is 20" with resolution 1600x900. It can be MD and TV in one as well.

Looks very nice for a Kitchen MD or the like but no touch screen and a bit too big to be a handheld orbiter.

Missed it But I saw similar PC with touchscreen in the shop. Possible it's optional feature. In any case, Toshiba showed its JournE Touch Tablet:
