Would be great if support for a device like this could be added for those of us who can't lay cable for ethernet-based ir extenders.

There's a thread (http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=8055.15) about a wifi ir/rs232 unit that just started production. The manufacturer seems keen on getting it working with LMCE. Hopefully the price comes down as production ramps up Smiley
