I would like to create a device template for the Hauppauge MVP.

I would start as a UPNP client device under mvpmc, it can also emulate squeezebox...

I had it working by manually editing the dhcpd.conf file, and I would like make it a standard device.

I'm just looking for the information to get started registering the device type and building the config pages for it.

Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Did you get any further with this?

Per this thread- http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=8572.0 tkmedia has the files to get it booting.  I would like to wiki the steps to getting it working and have the setup to try.

tkmedia- where can I get those files?

Sorry been under the weather for last few days... basically you need two pieces (or at least the way i did it).
I complied a version of mvprelay from the mvpmc project. And created a script to start a tftp server on another port.  I haven't posted this prior trying to prevent a duct tape approach. I will try to review the files and re test w 0810.  My goal is to add this to 0810 at least for squeezebox compatibility.

huh PM your email and will try to get the files together over the next week.
