Challenge: To make a simple bitmap replacement for Basic using minimal gradients. No layout changes allowed, you can add Style variations to change colours, fonts, and data grids.

General direction? Dark Slate, matte finish.

Target: touch screens for UI1. Use the Web Orbiter if you do not have a tablet or a touch screen.

I know how to change the color of a datagrid cell, I see that there is an opacity option, and I know how to change the general background of a dg designobj. My question is... is it possible to have the area of a dg cell that isn't occupied by text or coverart to be transparent?
