failed to write inode error
« on: June 16, 2009, 11:58:48 pm »
I get an error during install that say failed to write 8 blocks in inode table.

Any ideas?

that is a very low level system error, and indicates a problem with hardware (probably hard drive going bad).

I have tried two different drives that are check disk and formatted.  The motherboard works perfectly I had windows running flawlessly prior.  I wonder if the automated install is not formatting or partitioning for some reason.  Maybe a controller conflict in the install?  It is a gigabyte ma69gm board
