Hi,in the 8.10, i was trying to install an Orbiter on my windows Pc, following this guide

http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Control_LinuxMCE_using_a_Windows_device_as_an_Orbiter#Manual_Orbiter_Setup_on_the_Core

I can't download any installer, it's a 0 byte file that obviusly  don't work.

So i looked the original files in
/usr/pluto/installers and i notice that are all 0 byte files.

It's normal because we are talking about the 8.10?

Thanks,
Martino.

as far as i know, you are right.
currently there is no build for the installers.
So wait for next build, or - i didn't prove it - you can use installer from 0710

Murcel.

Guys, stop duct taping things together!

we need a windows developer to take over building the Windows Orbiter for the Win32, WinCE, Windows Mobile, and Windows Smartphone targets.

I do not have the time to set up the entire toolchain, but everything needed to build the windows orbiter is in SVN.

Does somebody volunteer to set up a builder that we can FTP binaries from for the packaging process?

Hey Murcel, did you get anywhere with these windows orbiters?

Just checking, i was trying to set it up on my laptop and saw the download was 0 bytes and a search led me to this thread.

If not, I'll just wait untill the final,

thanks,

Richard
