I have re-installed my core with Alpha 810 and cannot get any resolution higher that 420p to display. I was previusly running 710 and had 1080p with UI1 running.

I have changed the video card (all Nvidia) but still get the same problem. All resolutions greater that 420p only show the top left quarter/eighth of the screen, so the countdown and continue/cancel buttons are not visible.

ps. have booted and configured an MD running at 1080p  UI2 with no issues from this core.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi gadget,

Did you enable the 180.XX Nvidia driver in KDE (via hardware drivers) prior to installing LMCE?

Have you tried to re-run the AVWizard?

Hi Pigdog,

I had followed the alpha install instructions which now says that the nvidia driver doesn need to be install separately. I didnīt check which driver was loaded but a manual install of 185.18.14 from the Nvidia site resolved the issue.

Now have core at 1080p and UI2.

An issue i had while installing the driver was that when running ītelinit 1ī the system wouldnīt get me to a console session. I had to kill the fvwm process to do the install.

I installed the latest stable nVidia driver and then I was able to set Full HD resolution during AVWizard working.
