hi there, i would like to contribute and make the german translation complete fro 0810.

1. is there already a german translation - i don't mean the one installed by default? as a native speaker, i have to say that its awfull, and i would like to translate again

I did a german re-translation quite some time ago but I think it didn't make it into the regular builds yet. The files are in the old bug tracker and there's only a link left on Trac [1]. IMHO at least Hari has access to the old system. You should probably contact him, get the files and make a review of the translation...

The way it works is like this: You update your Text_LS table. After that, you come into the irc channel #linuxmce-devel and try to get a hold of someone who can commit stuff into sqlCVS.

As Text_LS is part of the designer repo, it should not be committed anonymously.

BTW, I remember there were some things hardcoded, i.e. they couldn't be translated easily. Don't know, if that has been fixed yet...
