vdr or myth for dvb-t?
« on: May 31, 2009, 12:25:20 pm »
Im hoping this will be a quick reply (albeit a stupid question). Should i be looking to use myth or vdr for a uk based mce install with a kworld usb dvb-t stick?  I would like to get a better understanding of how the pvr software works but dont have time to read in detail about both.  (The last of my components arrives next week so the install starts next weekend!)

Before you dive into VDR head first... http://forum.linuxmce.org/index.php?topic=7937.0

I am using the Kworld 399Us on Andrew's recommendation, and they work very well.

He also very kindly wrote this page out http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Kworld_KW-DVB-T_399U

I have had these DVB sticks working very well using this guide (with myth!)
