I see a pictures option under media and was hoping there was someway to put all my family pictures there and have it act as a screen saver on my media dirrector hooked up to my 40 inch LCD. Is this what that folder is for or is it simply storage?

I sftp a whole bunch of files into the dirrectory however I was not able to see them on the MD. Did I not upload them correctly?

Any advice is apreciated.

yes, they can be stored but you only see them listed.
go to pluto support site in the bug report section and add a mantis to wishlist.

In the mean time if badly wanted - you could use some scripts that make DVDs out of pictures that can be seen in Movies section....

Haven't tried it yet, but know about this possibility...

Hi,

I know I already posted this info. But found it again :

http://dvd-slideshow.sourceforge.net/

It makes DVDs out of directory of photos - maybe we could make it work under Pluto ....

There is also recomendation for even greater project at the bottom of page :

http://dvd-baker.sourceforge.net/

It seems it makes nice DVDs out of Gallery2 albums... Gallery2 is great application for dealing with photos

http://gallery.menalto.com/

What if we integrate it under Pluto ? - I guess not much work .....

HTH,

regards,

Rob.

i don't think we have much time for implementing new features, anyway we have a solution that works with dvd cover arts.
