Now I'm almost there. I've got a setup like this:

Hybrid with Nova-T DVB card.
MD, EPIA MII 1200. No cards.

When I had my fresh install of the hybrid I added my DVB card under Advanced->Configuration->Device Templates. I selected Hauppauge and    Digital TV Cards #143, named my card Nova-T DVB and pushed 'Add'. In the template I only added:

This device is controlled via category:      Device Category: Media Director

Then saved the template.
I also added my card to the hybrid using Wizard->Devices->Media Directors and selected it under 'PVR capture card'.

Under Advanced->Configuration->Devices -> The core hybrid, I deleted Mythv application.

I put a working channels.conf in /var/lib/vdrdevel. After rebooting I was able to watch TV Smiley

I created a new Media director, without Myhtv but with VDR. Nothing more here.

I rebooted again and tried playing som mp3's that I uploaded to the core/hybrid. After making some changes, i.e creating a floorplan and adding my MD's I was able to simultaniously (spell?) play different music on the two MD's.

Now to VDR.
In /var/log/pluto/39_VDR.newlog I can see this:

Things look alright but the problem is that when I start watching TV on the MD ( EPIA ), the audio plays on the hybrid and I get a black screen on the MD. I'm running an Orbiter on my WinXP laptop and I do get the remote in the same way both for the MD as for the hybrid. All playing well on the hybrid, but on the MD it's a black screen and the audio plays on the hybrid.

For clarification. I do switch between Server room and Kitchen, as the rooms are named at my setup. ( Hybrid in serverroom and MD in kitchen that is ).

Please help me out on this one!

/Nivis

Btw. How does the picture viewer work. I've added a jpeg to the public picture area, but can't watch it. Media Files & Sync says that it exists both on disk and in db?
