Question about Mythtv

Hi all,

Amateur question here :)
I allready watch tv from my pvr 150 and i wonder:
Is it possible to watch stream tv from a site and have it assigned as a channel in my remote ?

I guess it would help to define what "site" is in your question. I find that most places offering streams of tv shows require some flash plugin or Windows software to work.

Sorry you're right.  :-[

I'm talking about this one, skaitv, in my ubuntu pc plays in mozilla with totem player.
It's free and no need to download anything so i guess no prob with mce but can it be assigned as a channel in the remote?

I think the best you are going to be able to do is set it as a bookmark in computing apps.

well there really being no standard for tv streaming on the net (other than the seldom used IPTV), its pretty hard to build in support for this stuff. you could probably add functionality with enough coding, but it would end up being specific to only that particular stream.

Even  that would be nice, despite the fact that i not good at all with coding :).
