ZWave: Best inclusion remote?

I have a Tricklestar USB Zwave adapter but it seems I need an Inclusion Remote to add the devices to my network.

Should I purchase the Tricklestar remote, or get this one (http://www.letsautomate.com/11109.cfm?), which is cheaper?

I hoped someone might save me from buying one which doesn't work....!

EDIT: Is it possible to setup my system without a remote - using only the USB stick? I have three 2-wire ZWave dimmer modules.

You need the inclusion remote or the software that allows you to register devices.  Check wiki.

I would recommend getting the Tricklestar remote instead of the ACT. The Tricklestar has much newer firmware and fully supports SIS mode for including devices into your ZWave network... see my note here on this; http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Z-Wave#Manual_Setup_using_SIS_Mode_with_the_Tricklestar_Remote

SIS mode is nice because it totally does away with the need to manually upload changes to your ZWave network from the Remote.

the micasaverde dongle also allows you to add devices without the need of a separate controller. Just take the dongle next to each device and press the connect button on the dongle and the device and then take the dongle back to your core.
I bought one a couple of weeks ago and I believe it was around $65. Once I plugged it in, Linuxmce automatically detected it and installed.
I only have 1 motion sensor attached to it so haven't done much testing. I will be getting a couple wall switches this weekend and can do some additional testing and report on my findings.

I spend so much time on the forums getting help that I was eager to give a little back and help someone that I totally missed that part. When I read the question about setting up the USB dongle without a master controller I totally forgot the original question of what remote to use.

Tried the Mac Tricklestar Widget, which has an option for including devices, however it doesn't seem to work with my Homepro dimmers. I'll add some info to the Wiki about this.

So in summary the only complete ZWave solution which supports all new devices is Tricklestar USB + Remote? Damn, it's also the most expensive! ;-)

I managed to include my devices using ZTool by Homeseer. You can get a time limited trial from their site. All is now working, and I am going to write my findings up on the Wiki. Just before I do this can someone confirm that it is not possible to add devices to the network inside LMCE somehow?

btw, the remote you were referring to in your initial post is the ZTH100 from ACT (ZTH200 for EU). A very nice remote but too old for SIS mode.

Be aware that the tricklestar can lockup sometimes (prevents further inclusion), 0810 will have a way to workaround.
