zyxel's DMA1100P as MD
« on: April 16, 2009, 04:40:07 pm »
Anybody got a chance to look inside this box? From the specifications it looks like this box runs uCLinux, and got a sigmatel chipset and impressively got HomePlug built-in, and HDMI can do upto 1080i in a very small box.. ;)

probably some gurus can shed some light to be able to use this as a MD..

Another hint.. it uses embedded uCLinux with Busybox and twonky media.. I found few other products/media players that use this chipset and use same software..

french based "Dane-Elec So Smart 1TB HDMI WiFi Multimedia Hard Drive with Remote Control"
US based MVix MX780HD

cheers
