I know this topic is old, but I'm wondering what progress has been made on it.
I did see this tho http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/LinuxMCE_domain_Controller and I'm currently studying it's contents.

There hasn't been any progress. Current devs don't have any itch to scratch with regards to making LinuxMCE a domain controller.
