Timezone.plutohome.com

I've reinstalled linuxmce a number of times in the past two weeks and it consistently fails to contact timezone.plutohome.com during initial setup. The result (I think) is that my computer clock gets set incorrectly. Is this site down? I can't ping it.

I have the linuxmce machine directly connected to my cable modem with no hardware firewall or router inbetween.

It is down, and I doubt that it ever will be up again. We might have a replacement on a different URL at a later date, but for now, go into the Web admin and set your timezone under installation.
