I try to use Intel-based Mac Mini - newbielink:http://www.apple.com/macmini/ [nonactive]. Also, you can check aOpen mini PC - newbielink:http://minipc.aopen.com/us/spec.htm [nonactive] which looks like MAc Mini. ASUS DIGIMATRIX - newbielink:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16856110011 [nonactive] seems a good choice for MD.

I just try to boot it from Plutohome TFTP server but without luck yet. But there is an example howto boot Linux to Mac Mini (PowerPC not Intel-based) via network and run there MythTV - newbielink:http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Diskless_Mac-Mini_Howto#Forcing_the_Mac_Mini_to_boot_from_the_net [nonactive].
