I'm not really an expert on this, but did you perhaps get the new mythtv 0.22 installed? This could be the source of your problem. It is very new and as far as speculation goes, probably not intended.

myth scanned channels for me, but still has problems not starting right.  going to a menu instead of tv.

periodically i see this in dcerouter.log
