Yes, its available in Australia for AU$299 (AU$249 on special this month only!), and I am aware of some people that have already taken delivery in Sydney. Apparently, it is also available in the UK, but the price of GBP189 seems extremely high... perhaps Totallymaxed knows something more about that in the UK?
Hi Colin, My information is that the DVB model is not available here yet in the UK... you Aussie's must be the 'Guinea pigs' ;-) Where did you see that UK price of 189UKP? Allthe best Andrew

Hmmm... no one here has them. I have googled for them and also called several companies... none have seen any at all yet. Andrew

dunno then, didn't research the uk suppliers much, just saw those posts in the link I sent... apparently they found a supplier, but to be fair we are talking product landed in the last few days (both in AU and UK)... check the AU thread on that forum, one guy at least actually has product "in hand" and working in Sydney so it must exist

Cool! I imagine modding the pnp to work with DVB-T should be pretty straight forward, but do you think there will be a great deal of effort to get it working with VDR? Col.

Well mine just arrived & only 3 days after my payment cleared.
Had it working well with my Windows Media Centre in about 2 minutes, very impressed with how well it works.
I will put it on my LMCE test network on the weekend & let you all know what happens.

Great. Do you use MythTV or vdr as your PVR in LinuxMCE? All the best Andrew

Unfortunately I have had a severe lack of spare time. In the short time I did have, I tried VDR & Myth, I had no luck with VDR, but a bit with Myth. Got to the point of scanning for channels, but it didn't detect any.
Will have more of a play when I get the chance.
Josh

Hi All Just an update I have the HDHomeRun dvb-t working in LinuxMCE 810 alpha 2 what I did was 1 wget http://ppa.launchpad.net/mythbuntu-testing/ppa/ubuntu/pool/main/m/mythbuntu-weekly/mythbuntu-weekly_1-0ubuntu0+mythbuntu2_all.deb2 then install that package this adds mythbuntu-weekly.list in /etc/apt/sources.list.d 3 apt-get update 4 apt-get install mythtv-backend mythtv-frontend mythtv-database this pulls those and a few other packages from mythbuntu 5 then go into mythtv setup and add the tuner's and scan for channels and away it went Problems no sound in HD sound is fine in SD

Great new ihas, I will try that out when I have some spare time.
FYI, the issue with the sound also happens if you use VLC with this device, so it may not be an issue with LinuxMCE/Myth as such.
Regards, Josh
