How to get F6, F7 and F8 on the IR remote control?

I'd like to have F6, F7 anf F8 on my IR remote control. Any suggestion how to do it?

Hi,

On my default install, I have some of those (if not all) functions on the color buttons. I have a Hauppage remote, btw.

If not, I think you can alter/add the functionality for different remote buttons in the advanced device admin page for the remote. Can't remember the details, search the forums or the wiki.

Hi sambuca. Thanks for your replay. My LinuxMCE core/hybrid has iMON IR receiver. The remote control Red button activates main menu under UI2. But unfortunately during video playback it doesn't work. Strange thing because control for lighting/volume mapped to the F7 I guess works fine by pressing Green button.

Maybe its the default behaviour? I'm not at home right now, so I can't test it.
Does pressing the correct Fx button during video playback open the main menu, but not the remote button?

Not understand clearly. But keyboard works fine with F6, F7 and F8. But remote color buttons don't work during video playback. Except yellow, I guess, which shows lighting/volume control.
