EnOcean - do you use/know this?
« on: February 08, 2009, 01:52:53 am »
Hi Folks,

I was wondering if anybody uses EnOcean? I'm working on a driver and I would be interested which devices are used by our userbase.

best regards,
Hari

hehe, the battery-less remote switch (PTM 200) already sends events:

the interface on the LMCE side is a TCM120 (with built in usb/rs232).

I've seen this products, but I don't use them.

BTW: They will have a Roadshow in Ferbuary here in Germany and in Austria, if you're interested I can give you the contact address.

Hi,

I saw them on Electronica Failt in Munich. Quite interesting. Where did you buy it ? How does rs232 protocol look like ?

Thanks in advance,

got an eval kit from EnOcean.  The protocol is straightforward. I like it. Everything is documented in the module manuals and API docs. All available for free. The driver in svn only supports RPS frames for now (remote switches). It is pretty cool to control Z-Wave lamps with an EnOcean battery-less switch. I'll try to get a few more devices on my desk.

Hari
