Trying to get the PVR-500MCE setup on Pluto .39
Everything seems good to go, except the tuner only has snow
when trying to tune in the channels of cable TV.

Error:
cx25840 1-0044: 0x0000 is not a valid video input!
tuner 1-0061: tuner type not set

How do I resolve this ?

Hi itaki

I think you may find interesting this thread:

http://plutohome.com/support/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?p=3324

I also had this "tuner type not set" issue with a PVR 350, and following that link you will find how I managed to solve it.
