Can i reinstall my linucmce without loosing my data like video, music etc??

If you boot from the 710 DVD, after it comes up it will detect an existing install, and give you 3 choices:

1. Keep settings and home directory
2. Just keep home directory
3. Fresh install keeping nothing

So yes, You are covered  Wink

home dir is were the media is stored i suppose?
