Hello,

Obviously doable; has it been done?  Can an MD do this?

Is it hard to configure an old pc in pluto to perform some of the functionality of a gc-100.

Specifically, I'd like to control sound system, etc (rs232 / ir) by hooking an old pc to ethernet back to pluto core and using the old pc like a gc-100.

Is software available to turn an old pc into a "Network Adapter" that connects a network to infrared (IR), serial, relay and sensor inputs that can interrupt or be polled by other network devices?  And an embedded web server for web admin / config & bootp from core would be great.

much thanks,
joseph
