Total noob with linux Help with 0810 alpha1

Hi im having trouble with LinuxMCE 0810 alpha1. Now the reason that i am using this one is it seem to work with my card a 9600gt this is the i386 ver
everything installed fine but! where the linuxMCE? it didn't seem to install linuxMCE part or something just the OS Kubuntu it self , do i need to install it after or
did i miss something on the install? PLEASE note im a total noob any info and step by step info on how install the mce part would be great!

I have look at AMD 64 ver of LinuxMCE but i could never get it up and runing

my system is

AMD 939
LANPARTY NF4 SLI-DR   works with both but I Im having trouble with the 9600 HDMI audio not working yet video is fine so far on 386 ver
ASUS EN9600GT HDMI   works with 810 not 710 .  my old card a  XFX  7800gtx works with 710 just fine ( well i never got to test it much)
SEAGATE HD 80
FusionHDTV PRO           have not got up to setting it up yet =( no idea if it works with any ver)

the 0810 alpha is not intended for end users.

What Hari said, and I think your best bet is to put in the 7800 card and try the 0710 version. 

Alternatively you can have a look at: http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/LinuxMCE-0810_alpha1#Installation but several things are currently still broken or do not work out of the box and there is no end-user support for that version, definately not recommended if you're new to LinuxMCE.
