32" LCD/Plasma with RS232

Anyone own one of these that can give me a recommendation? I want 32" or smaller, rs232, dont need 1080 but wouldnt be against it either, need either VGA or DVI. Dont want to break the bank if that's possible.

if you want LCD get a sharp LC32-XXX (the x20e and xl2e are nice)

I have been reading up on some of these TV's and the LG's look pretty good and are cheaper. Anyone have any experience with them?
