Hi there,

I installed Pluto Core on 64bit server. It worked fine till by some reason all Pluto start scripts disapeared from /etc/rc2.d. But anyway, it another issue.
I have a couple of questions about it:
 1) Is it possible to use 64bit Core and 32bit Media Directors?
 2) Is there a possibility to use non-diskless MD and if yes how to install it?

Thank in advanced.

Good luck getting an answer.  None of mine have been answered yet.  Project is starting to look like a joke.

I hope that just guys don't  have enough time to answer because Pluto is one of the best home automation open source projects. So, it'd be sad to lose it.
Anyway I already made a fresh installation and I'm going to add MD. Let's see ...

Ok, it's officially a joke.  I used a mythtv distro to figure out how to get my card working.  I took that info and loaded it into Pluto.  Guess what...IT DIDN'T WORK!  Imagine that!  In addition I used the web front end to try and configure things and it broke itself.

No wonder they don't answer in the forums.  They don't know what the hell they are doing!

Yes, it's possible. The 32bit MD works file with 64bit Core. There is an only one problem: the long time of the first boot. It happens because ISO is created by 64bit Core but 32bit MD needs 32bit packages.

Cureently it isn't possible. Pluto supports only diskless MD.
