Well, I just installed kubuntu 0810 on it and aside from asking to use restricted nvidia drivers (177 instead of 173) every thing works OTB, INCLUDING the nic (I'm writing this from that board with the onboard nic connected to the internet). I can't comment on the HDMI (audio or video) and on SPDIF right now, as I'm currently connected thru VGA and analog sound.
I'm now installing 0810 alpha and will update once finished.
