Hi,

I work with Plutohome and dive deeper and deeper into it. I'd like to notice that like Pluto increasingly. Great work! But with progress of Pluto study  the number of question is growing. It's true. So, one of them is following: does Pluto support any model of air conditioner? Also, could somebody give me a good point to implement support of it. I'm interested in Daikin air conditioners (http://www.daikineurope.com/products/for_your_home/one_room_solution/wall_mounted/items/ftxs-b.jsp)
Thank in advanced.

Some air conditioners are controlled via a modular thermostat. You can replace this thermostat with one of the automation compatible thermostats (wired, z-wave, etc.).

The one in your link seems to be a split unit. From what I know all these units are controlled via IR remote control. You could control these air conditioners by using the GC100 (supported by Pluto) or the Ocelot (which might be supported via GSD). The only question is if Pluto already has the commands required to control it (temp up/down, fan control, etc.).

I was wrong when I told about  air conditioner. I have to integrate into my Pluto system support of Intelligent touch Controller (iTouch) from Daikin - http://global.daikin.com/global/our_product/network/products/i_touch/overview.html. It looks power and geek Smiley I saw on the Pluto devices compatible page that It supports some simple thermostats. Hope it'll help me to integrate iTouch Smiley
