I wanted to take a tour of Linux MCE before I install it, but I cant figure out how to boot from the cd without making a partition first. From Windows, I ran the livecd installer, restarted and chose Linux from the Boot Loader but then it asks me to choose a partition to install to. What am I doing wrong?

We do not have a LiveCD option for LinuxMCE because of the sheer amount of functionality. You will need to install it.
