Hi,

Anyone use on of these intel boards for a frontend? It looks pretty sweet to me. Mini-itx form factor, built in dual 1.6 Ghz atom processor, onboard gigabit lan. If this thing had an HDMI out port it would be perfect.

Search the forum and you'll see several people are working on this motherboard already... the main issue is the NIC. See here See http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Realtek_8168 for some tips on what you need to do. In the 810 release (dont even ask when that will be because no one knows yet!) I expect the correct drivers to be present and these motherboards and others that use similar NIC's will just boot normally.

All the best

Not to recommend, but if you are looking for a Intel 945 Mini-ITX with HDMI, Jetway makes one.  It even has dual ethernet..  I have not used this board personally.
