USB Camera not working in MCE

I followed the directions on the on the wiki (http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Monitor_surveillance_cameras) and when I went to display the camera its always blank. The device setting is pointing to the right /dev/videoX and the camera works fine in kopete. What am I missing?
