I'm using an old 3com 3C905B for now, but I need dual NICs for the core.  This board seems to have a Realtek 8211BL NIC onboard.  I can't find a driver for it, does anyone know if its supported?  I'm using a blank Kubuntu 7.10 install right now, LMCE is next.

Will post if this fixes the issue.

Nope, didn't work.  Now for some reason KDM won't even start!  At least the console works...

Not sure why, but the nvidia driver doesn't work now.  The vesa driver works though.  It seems like the driver isn't being loaded, even though I compiled it.

So this board basically sucks.  The NIC, video, and sound all don't work properly with Linux.  There seems to be hacks for each of them, but I can't get them to work.  At this point I wouldn't recommend this board for LMCE.  I think I'm going to return it and try another, any suggestions?  I need 3 PCI slots if there is only one onboard NIC, 2 if there is one.  I have a nvidia 8500 that I can use if the system doesn't have an onboard nvidia video card.
