Is there any way to control the power to the tv using the Windows XP MCE remote and receiver through the ir blaster.  I have the TV set up in LMCE.  If I go to Advance Options then Infrared Codes The ir blaster will send the codes and turn on/off the tv.  Is any way to make the remote do that?

The power button of the WinMCE remote should show the power screen, when depressed. If not, go to the wiki, and search for "adding support for remote"

there is an article on making a remote mapping for your MCE remote using a USB UIRT.

(yes, I recommend if you're not using a USB UIRT, to get one to use as your primary blaster.)
