Just making sure, esp because of the CE bit! I want to be sure before I go through all the pain of exporting this from the US via a friend in SF again I noticed in another thread (maemo) you mention you have one - how do you find the battery life? And also, can you use the flash module to install the orbiter on, or does it need either the HDD or SSD option for it? Finally, you said you wish you could flash your WebDT in the context of flashing the Nokia devices... did you mean get rid of Win CE altogether and use a nokia-like distro and the maemo orbiter? That sounds nice

well, in the case of the WebDT, just point the browser on the unit to the web admin page, and click on the orbiters page.. install the XScale cab for WinCE.NET. done.

I have 3 of the web dt375s and they work really well. I do get the orbiter randomly crashing on occasions and I haven't yet figured out how to get the screen to turn off when not being used, but they are rather excellent (I plan to mount them on my wall and make up a DIY POE adapter)

I haven't found an ebay store yet that will ship to that weird 51st state (OS!) - which is why I have to hit my mate up in San Fran to ship them on for me He doesn't know this one is coming yet! But he just did my RMA for me on the MSI Wind PC that was DOA when he brought it to me in Australia, so hopefully I can get him to wrap this up with my replacement Wind PC

OK,
So the device came today, but how do I get the software installed? I went to the admin page by typing in the ip address and clicked the download button at the bottom of the screen which then brought up the different orbiter software.
I installed the XScale on, but when I go to run it, I am told
"'Orbiter_CeNet4_XSale' is not a valid Windows CE application"
Any ideas?

I am running into the same problem. I noticed that the Tablets come with Windows CE 5.00 and not the Windows CE.Net version. Would these be compatible?

btw - that ebay seller de-listed them a couple of days ago. Apparently there was a "listing price" or "reserve price" error! Damn!

not unless you are a windows CE registry wizard.
The 325 is a Windows Based Terminal
while it is the correct version of the WinCE kernel, the shell is WBTSHELL.EXE ... which is very difficult to change, because the windows OS is hidden inside a blob which you can't change. I have a 325 here, and am considering trying some registry hacks to get the pluto orbiter to boot as the shell....
