I wanted to add this hardware as not compatible. I used the Live DVD install and did not receive any errors during Kubuntu install, but while running setup video is not visible. System information as follows.

Dell Poweredge SC440
Video: Onboard ATI 1000
RAM: 1GB

I hope this helps someone else.
