Xantech MRAUDIO8X8CTL
« on: October 07, 2008, 05:17:46 am »
Is the Xantech MRAUDIO8X8CTL and HD44CC5 compatible with linuxmce?  If so, I would like to hear any advice on setting it up.  I realize that linuxmce design makes the use of this equipment not really necessay.  But, I would like a dedicated whole house audio and video distribution system and have a standalone mythTV box as an AV source.  I would then like to integrate this system with the security system(Honey well Vista-128-BP) using linuxmce.  I know that this is redundant, but I used mythtv many years before I discovered linuxmce and I would like to continue to use mythtv independent of linuxmce.  I really prefer mythtv's interface over linuxmce as a media center.  I hope no one takes offense.

There are no device templates for the devices you describe. But you can make them.

Also, if you want to use LinuxMCE, but don't want to use its most prominent features, why are you using it in the first place?

*hmm*
