Problem with X-Setting on TV
« on: September 24, 2008, 11:10:05 am »
Hi,

first, sorry for my english..... :)

i'm installed LinuxMCE from DVD... But when i tried to get my TV work, it's failed.

When i got x11 output on my tv, the screen is split in two pieces with the same output.
No Resolution will work, 720p, 1080i...

The PC is Shuttle XPC G58300m with Intel915G integrated Graphic.
My TV is Philips 37PFL7332, connected via DVI/HDMI

Any Tips?

Thnx,
Bitspyer

Install the latest intel drivers and configure xorg.conf properly, see http://wiki.linuxmce.org/index.php/Display_Drivers.

Hey,

Can you verify and repost that link again?  I can't get there.

The wiki has been moved last night to a faster and more stable server, maybe your (provider's) DNS hasn't updated yet.
